- An EPC Certificate is required before a property can be marketed
- From 1st April an EPC is required for Solar PV installations. Properties need to fall within a Band D in order to get the full Feed In Tariff (FIT)
- Gas Safety Certificate is required a minimum of every 12 months, it is strongly advisable to do before every tenant change if it is less than 12 months
- Landlord Electrical Safety Certificates ensure the safety of all electrics in the property including the PAT testing of appliances (anything with a plug)

From April 1st 2012 Energy Assessors were required to pass a further exam (RdSAP 9.91) in order to commision EPCs. Our assessors have passed the RdSAP 9.91 exam and fully able to comply with the new legislation. The report is now geared a lot more towards the Green Deal as a result it is a lot more indepth, accurate and more useful to the consumer. Time spent on site and paper work has increased due to this but we feel as though this has made the report a more useful document in reducing our carbon footprint.
